Twin Spray Arch

The Twin Spray Arch is a permanent installation designed to clean your fleet vehicles without the use of roatating brushes. With a detergent and rinse arch, each vehicle can be applied with a fast acting detergent or traffic film remover, sit in between arches as the chemical quickly works to breakdown the dirt and once the chemical has had chance to take effect the vehicle can pass through the rinse arch to clean off any remaining dirt and residue.

Detergent Application arch specification:

• Manufactured in three sections of 1.5” Mild steel medium tube with full face flanges at each joint.
• Height to the customers requirement.
• ¼”bsp steel jet bosses are welded every 220mm to each side, with 450mm spacing across the top.
• The jet bosses are fitted with two ¼” bsp 90° elbows and the  jet is then fitted, this enables the jets to be directed at any angle to optimize the cleaning process.
• The spray arch is supported by two uprights manufactured in 3mm folded mild steel measuring 250 x 150 x 2400mm and seam welded to 12mm base plates measuring 300 x 600mm with four 20mm fixing holes.
• All steelwork is hot dipped galvanized. The fixings are 16 x 150mm concrete through bolts.

• Manufactured in three sections of 2” Mild steel medium tube with full face flanges at each joint.
• Height to the customers requirement.
• ¼”bsp steel jet bosses are welded every 220mm to each side, with 450mm spacing across the top.
• The jet bosses are fitted with two ¼” bsp 90° elbows and the jet is then fitted, this enables the jets to be directed at any angle to optimize the cleaning process.
• The spray arch is supported by two uprights manufactured in 3mm folded mild steel measuring 250 x 150 x 2400mm and seam welded to 12mm base plates measuring 300 x 600mm with four 20mm fixing holes.
• All steelwork is hot dipped galvanized. The fixings are 16 x 150mm concrete through bolts.

Water storage tank specification:

• Manufactured in 3mm mild steel measuring 2300 x 1220 x 1220mm and fitted with outlet flanges for all pumps, cross bracing and top flange, all joints are seam welded and leak tested before the internal bitumen finish is applied external finish Jotun durable Black.
• A 2” boss for the fitting of an emersion heater, (for frost protection).
• An inlet flange is fitted to give a ‘TYPE A’ Air gap.

Pumps

Detergent application pump, multistage vertical pump with 3phase 11kw motor, output 225ltr/min @ 120m/h.

Rinse application pump,

Option 1

Multistage vertical pump with 3phase 22kw motor, output 460ltr/min @ 19bar.

Option 2

Multistage vertical pump with 3phase 15kw motor, output 460ltr/min @ 11bar

Electrical Panel

IP65 Enclosure measuring 600 x 600 x 210 housing motor contactors and circuit breakers, 240v – 24v  250va transformer, 24v control circuit,  programmable controller, and all necessary control circuit breakers. Built to IEE regulations. Supply voltage 415v  3phase neutral and earth.

Wash sequence is started by push button and is controlled by a timed sequence, which can be interrupted for detailing prior to the rinse.

Detergent Injection 

2700ltr Bunded storage tank feeding into the vacuum side of the pump via a solenoid valve and adjustable flowmeter.

High Pressure Lances

High pressure pump, output 14ltr/min @ 150bar driven by 4kw 3ph motor, feeding two twin lances via stainless steel 20mtr hose reels fitted both sides of the wash bay.

Only one lance can be used at a time and can be used within the wash cycle or independently.
